School: Central High School

Grade: 12th

Background/interests/hobbies: I love running cross country and track in high school, and I’m also getting into triathlons. I write for my school’s newspapers, and I like cooking (and eating), art, and crosswords.

Reason for applying to the workshop: I applied to the Acel Moore workshop because I wanted to learn more about how I can use my voice to learn and share stories.

Future plans: In college, I plan on majoring in applied math and something in the humanities or social sciences field. I’m not sure exactly what I want to do, but I like journalism and want to keep writing.
