Grade: 11th

Background/interests/hobbies: I’ve been a part of my school’s newspaper, the Spoke, for the entirety of my high school career. Apart from journalism, I love reading, playing video games, and writing poetry (I have two books published).

Reason for applying to the workshop: I applied to the Acel Moore workshop because I saw it as a chance to work with professionals in a professional setting; a chance to step out of a local newspaper and into a bigger publication.

Future plans: I plan to pursue a career in communications or photojournalism.
