Background/interests/hobbies: Vivian is a writer and editor for her school’s newspaper. She runs cross-country and is a member of her school’s lacrosse team. Vivian is from Pittsburgh, but grew up outside of Philadelphia and has one younger sibling. She likes to go backpacking and reads in her free time.

Reason for applying: She has always wanted to be a journalist and wants to learn more about the craft in a professional setting.

Looking ahead: Vivian plans to attend college after graduating high school. She wants to explore a career in the field of journalism and hopes to travel extensively one day.
