Background/interests/hobbies:  Victoria likes writing and is a member of her high school newspaper. Victoria, who hails from Chile and lived in Pittsburgh before moving to the Philadelphia area, has two sisters and a brother.  She plays squash and is a member of the track team at Lower Merion. She loves music, particularly alternative rock and Spanish music.

Reason for applying for the workshop: Her teacher recommended the program.

Looking ahead: She loves science and is looking for a way to express her views on this one planet we have. “We need to make big changes in the world and they need to start now,” Victoria said. “Whether it’s political or in association with climate change, we need a shift.”
