Nzinga Suluki-Bey is a 17-year-old senior at the Center City campus of Science Leadership Academy. A product of South West Philly, she is always doing her best to stay busy and help others.

Her senior year has been filled with the craze that is the college application process. In the midst of gathering the necessary materials for her 19-school-long list, she still finds time to work as a college access leader for her peers, inside and outside of school. Nzinga is a selfless person who devotes much of her time to helping others with their lives, all while living her own.

In her spare time, Nzinga can be found either reading, watching her latest show, or writing an entry for her blog, Power and Voice. Even with such a busy schedule, Nzinga never fails to value the importance of sleep. She makes sure to get some shut eye whenever she finds a free minute in her day.

With a long lineage of educators in her family, Nzinga hopes to keep the family tradition going. She strives to positively impact youth through education and teaching self love, a topic she wrote about in her latest post on Power and Voice.
