Background/interests/hobbies: I am a Nigerian-American student with a passion for exploring different cuisines, particularly Nigerian dishes. I also love reading, and one of my favorite books is Atomic Habits by James Clear. In addition to reading, I like writing, whether poems or short shorties. I enjoy writing in general.

Reason for applying to the workshop: I discovered the Acel Moore High School Journalism Workshop while searching for opportunities to refine my writing skills. I believe this workshop will provide me with valuable training and experience that will enhance my ability to communicate and write effectively to bring authentic stories to life.

Future plans: My career goal is to be a pediatric dentist where I can combine my curiosity for art with my passion for engaging with people and building meaningful connections.
