Background/interests/hobbies: Outside of my journalistic pursuits, I dance ballet pre-professionally, participate in policy debate, and go thrifting and vintage shopping.

Reason for applying to the workshop: I applied to the Acel Moore program to hone my journalism skills and get to hear from the faces behind such a renowned publication.

Future plans: I plan to study sociology and writing in college and then pursue either fashion journalism, investigative reporting, or human rights law.
