Background/interests/hobbies: I am a youth poet and author, eager to expand my knowledge not only in writing but also in journalism. I love music and play three instruments. Additionally, I enjoy gardening, activism, community service, and anything related to poetry.

Reason for applying to the workshop: I applied for the Acel Moore journalism workshop to take a significant step forward in my journey with words. I aimed to connect with others my age who share a common interest in journalism and to gain the opportunity to work alongside professionals who are fulfilling their careers in photojournalism or writing. I wanted to be uplifted and inspired by their experiences.

Future plans: Realistically speaking, I have nothing set in stone for my future. Now with the present, all I can do is prepare myself for greatness — whatever way it is willed to be.
