Background/interests/hobbies: I come from a family who immigrated to the United States from Cambodia. I spend a lot of my time connecting with people of the Cambodian community and volunteering for several organizations. I have profound interests in enhancing my condiment collection, watching YouTube videos, and creating food with my parents.

Reason for applying to the workshop: I was drawn into the Acel Moore workshop because I would have the opportunity to see what the newsroom inside The Philadelphia Inquirer had in store for its staff. Since application was free, I thought it was a perfect chance for me to expose myself in a photojournalistic environment during the four weeks.

Future plans: I can see myself pursuing anything from chemical engineering, business, or journalism.
