Reason for applying: “I was nervous in the beginning, but then decided to go for it. I want  to become more confident in my writing ability. I was also looking forward to meeting others who had the same career interests. “

 Looking ahead: “As for future plans, I look forward to exploring my different passions in college, and after that, just finding a career that I love.”
