Twenty-one Philadelphia-area high school students were honored at the 34th annual Acel Moore Luncheon on April 7 in the Public Space of PMN’s newsroom. Each student received a certificate of achievement for completing the four-week hands-on program that taught them the fundamentals of print and digital journalism. Stephanie Romero, Ebony Graham, and Nia Lartey were awarded $1,000 scholarships for their excellent news articles, which appeared in First Take, the student publication.
