Zuha Mutan is an 18-year-old senior at William W. Bodine High School for International Affairs. She loves her school’s diversity, opportunities, and her open-minded principal. Zuha is a dedicated, open-minded, loyal, supportive person who loves writing.
She is currently involved in her school’s National Honor Society, student government, Yearbook, and Young Women Rising program. In these extra curricular activities, she takes up many leadership roles while showing an air of professionalism.
Zuha is currently interested in attending Stanford University, the University of California at Berkeley, or Drexel University. She wants to enter the medical field, preferably to become either a surgeon or a physician. With Zuha being an Advanced Placement student and president of her National Honor Society program, she has a bright future ahead of her.
Besides her love for writing, Zuha’s reasons for taking part in the Acel Moore High School Journalism Workshop include networking with other writers, showcasing her skills, and working toward interning at the company to gain new experiences. In time Zuha hopes to be able to work at hospitals, travel, and give back to the community. She also plans to create a future for herself by earning her real estate license. Zuha is goal-oriented and determined.
