Background/Interests/Hobbies: Asia enjoys writing and watching scary movies and documentaries. She is interested in sociology and the entertainment industry. In the future, she would like to be a movie director.
Reasons for applying for the workshop: She’s interested in the field of journalism, and she’d like to be a journalist in the future. “I wanted to connect writing with communications, so this program is the perfect way to do that,” she said.
Looking ahead: Asia is interested in attending an HBCU, hopefully down south. In college, she wants to major in mass communications. She would love to travel as part of her career.
